Illustrated above are the two main types of holt that we construct.

We feel that it is necessary to build holts in order to supplement the natural availability of suitable holting sites.
As with much of our woodland habitat, the modern, tidy approach to dead and old wood can remove many opportunties that might have been exploited in the past.
