Otter Data

We can use the information to: -

Build up a picture of where our otters are and identify seasonal activity.

Seek to protect important otter sites.

Identify and tackle threats to otters. For example from road kill.

Improve habitats for otters.

Promote the interests of otters in all riparian and wetland developments, which includes road, industrial and recreational schemes, and watercourse management.

This is achieved by liason with the Environment Agency and other interested bodies, with regard to management and develpoment planning issues.
