REMEMBER The Spring Survey started on the 1st March and runs until the 30th of April. Results should reach your area co-ordinator in May

Last Winter, 194 sites were surveyed, of which 24.7% were positive. This is the third winter running which has given a similar result.

This season please note the valiant efforts of Sue and Graham Windsor, who utilised both chest waders and canoes to struggle through mud and finally yield a positive result on the River Sherford, off Poole Harbour. It seams that Otters are still around in Poole Harbour but are extremely difficult to find! You may also note that myself and Emily White found signs of Otters further up the River Wey, but we were just strolling along the banks!
