Beaver Activity Day Camp | |||
We awoke to breakfast on Saturday with most of the tents up and ready to go. Avoiding the initial heavy downpour the final mess tent went up as the Beavers started to arrive. Several hundred Beavers attended and we were kept busy running a range of activities for them. Once the Beavers had been worn out and had been collected we were free to have a barbecue and relax for the evening. Some Explorers enjoyed a camp fire and others camped out in the pagoda. On Sunday the high ropes instructor arrived and the morning was spent on the new equipment - building crate stacks, jumping off the high pole etc.
